Saying Goodbye to Mrs. Turner

~ Our family cat, Mrs. Turner died sometime last night. She was a beloved part of our family for the past 8 years. She was old, and I am sure sick with something, and just layed down and died.
About 8 years ago, we found her on the side of the road when she was a new baby kitten, along with her 2 sister kittens, and 1 brother kitten. She was the one trying to protect her siblings, when we found her, swatting at us and hissing, and Brody said, “she is going to be a good cat,” and he was right. We thought she was a boy at first, (she was very fluffy) and named her “Turner,” later realizing she was a female, we changed her name to “Mrs. Turner.” We gave her sister “Hindu Fran,” to Brody’s sister, and “Lionel” to my mom. Her other sister “Sipsy” ran away.
Mrs. Turner was pregnant when I was pregnant with Blue, and she would lay on top of my stomach purring and Blue would kick at her! She had her fluff ball kittens before I had Blue, and he grew up to love her too. She put up with a lot from the boys…
She also moved with us and transitioned easily through each of our 6 moves. We nearly lost her in Kansas, while we were moving from CA to TN, and she rode in a cat carrier in the car across all those states…

She was the best cat I’ve ever had, and I am sad to say goodbye to her.

So sorry for your loss. Animals become part of the family and it’s never easy losing them. Praying for God’s peace upon you, Brody, and the boys.

I’m so sorry about your sweet kitty, Kristin. She looks like she was a wonderful part of the family. We have a cat we adore, as well, and I know how hard it would be on us if we lost her. Praying for you all.

Oh, so sad. Sorry, Kristin. I will always remember Mrs. Turner antagonizing the handy man/neighbor at Carrington Hills. It always thrilled me to see her running loose knowing that he would soon see her and “turn her in”.
She was such a sweet fluffy kitty.

Hi Kristen, So sorry to hear about your kitty. James got us one of those kittens your cap had. Fuzzy little grey point siamese markings. We named him
Scooter Fuzz! wh had him quite awhile, then he just disappeared and never came back. Thank you for the memories. I have some cute photos of him.
