Thanksgiving…

We had a very nice Thanksgiving! We played games, watched football, then played football. My dad and I made Turkey, roasted garlic- (1 1/2 heads) mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and cranberry sauce. We forgot about the rolls so we had those later in the day as turkey sandwiches! It was so relaxing, and the food was great! It was so nice to spend an entire day hanging out as a family. Aside from Brodys’ phone falling into the toilet, it was a great day! We missed our family in CA. and hope that we’ll be able to spend Thanksgiving with them again someday. How was your Thanksgiving?

First of all, if I haven’t said it already, I love the new look! I love the colors & design.
Second. Love the pics. The arts & crafts went from name holders to a fruity turkey! Loved the fruit. Amanda made napkin rings one year from a foam pre-cut pieces kit. They were cute, too. Miss those days!
Third. My how those boys have grown in the year I’ve been following your blog (and Brody’s)! Thanks for sharing them with all of us.

We had a great Thanksgiving too. My family was supposed to come, but at the last minute were unable to. We’d invited a friend and her kids over so it still felt holiday-ish. We all had a great time and our kids had a blast together.
Afterward, we went to visit Jimmy’s family about an hour away. Then today we went to an Amish-like village that does a fair every year. So fun.
Finally, tomorrow we’ll spend a bit of time at Jimmy’s family’s ranch.
It’s been busy, tiring and super fun!
By the way, your turkey looks DELICIOUS and I love that turkey centerpiece/appetizer!

Love the look!
Ditto on Thanksgiving celeb, it was great! My husband and I plus his mom spent time with church family. We enjoyed turkey, rolls,…topping it off with either pumpkin pie or cheese cake and ice cream…yum! We visited some neighbors with treats prior and concluded the evening with singing hymns…
Thanks for sharing your Thanksgiving!!

This year’s Thanksgiving was a whole lot better than last years!
We had a house full of Bible College students sleeping on our living room floor all week. The day started out with bad weather so we hung out & played games all day until it was time to eat. Then I’m one of those that have everybody say what they are thankful for. So that was fun there was 12 of us. The best part of the night was I didn’t have to clean the dishes or put the food away!!!!! HURRAY for delegating!

I love peeking into your Thanksgiving! Someday we will have it together again! Ours was different but awesome! Connie invited any of Cliff’s students to come up and join us, we had 13 come! My mom made an entire dinner and brought it over and Connie made an entire dinner! We had 23 people at her house for dinner. It was so fun! Then our 5 went to Mike and Barb’s and got ready for the next day, hung out, ate more food (really did we need that? ) and the kids played. The only thing missing was you guys….someday! Love you!
