Aiden’s Blankie

For a couple of months I have been working on Aiden’s warm winter blankie. He loves bright colors, and picked out this brightly colored yarn. Every day he asks me if I am done, and finally tonight I am done! I snuck in his room, and covered him up, hoping he’d see it when he woke up and be excited, but he is my little light sleeper, and woke up when I pulled his other blanket off of him. He smiled and closed his eyes again, then his eyes popped open, he looked at his blanket, and smiled and got all cozy. He loves it!

Wow. I’m so impressed!
What a sweet gift. Jimmy has a blanket his grandmother made for him…28 years ago. I’m sure Aiden will treasure it for a long, long time.

Impressive! I tried to learn to knit, and barely got two rows done, let along the whole scarf I was trying to make! I am a failure when it comes to knitting. Which is very sad, since I have a scarf fetish.
He looks so happy with his new blankie!

Great job! You are very talented, I never learned more than straight rows in knitting. I would love to get back in to it. Maybe I will one day when I retire. It looks great and I know Aiden will treasure it.
