Fabric Painting

June 9, 2009 - 9:21 pm 4 Comments

The boys have had a great time catching up with their Grandma who they had not seen in awhile.  She brought along some fabric paint and stencils, and they had fun painting some t shirts, and pillow cases.  (Something to think about before using fabric paint… don’t wear something you don’t want to get paint on… it doesn’t come off..)

  • Spending this week hanging out with my mom, and catching up.
  •   I love history, and have been wanting to go on the tour through the Carnton Plantation since we moved here nearly 4 years ago.  It is a home which served as a field hospital during the civil war, and many soldiers were buried on the property.  The tour is more than just walking through an old home, it is a story which is told and unfolds throughout each room.   If you are ever in the Franklin area you should definitely check it out.
  • Loving the sunny weather, even though it’s burning my shoulders.
  • Things are busy but good…

Goggles

My mom is out visiting, and brought along some water toys for the boys.  Cooper has worn these goggles on his face, or around his neck since he received them.  In the car, eating, wherever, he’s got the goggles.  It’s always so unexpected to know what toys kids are going to love and become attached to, I never would’ve thought that he’d fall in love with goggles!
