Sorry Lookin’ Roses…

The rain did a number on my roses, and sadly they didn’t recover from the black spot disease they got last year, and so now it’s even worse to the point that the roses are dying…. It’s sad.

My son “weeded” my birthday rose from my garden. Let’s both start again, shall we?

Kricketd~ This kind of rose is most susceptible to black spot disease, and the rain and humidity make it worse. It started getting it last year, and I worked on getting rid of it, but nothing seems to be working. There is a kind called “knock out” roses which are black spot resistant, and as I look around out here, those are the roses everyone has!

I tend to kill green things, despite my best efforts to keep them alive and well. I applaud your gardening efforts. I wish I had a green thumb.
