Organizing

“Organizing is what you do before you do something, so that when you do it, it is not all mixed up.” ~A.A. Milne
I can not get things done if I don’t have a list. I also can not seem to think well unless things are organized. I don’t know what that means about me, if anything, but that is just how I am. (Apparently I am not the only one whose inner happiness is somewhat influenced by outer orderliness)
This week I am aiming to organize things in my house, get things ready for a garage sale, we’ve already started selling some things we don’t use on craigslist, and feel somewhat accomplished so that when it finally stops raining, I can get outside!
Simple mom is having a Spring Clean marathon on her blog, and she’s got some good tips to go with it.
Apartment Therapy has some great organizing tips also, which is where I got the picture above
*What about you, are you happier when things are organized?

I am happier when things are organized, but they are rarely as organized as I want them.
I’d be totally lost, though, without my LISTS! Lists keep me sane.

I do like things organized its makes life a whole lot easier. My house may get messy or dusty at times but at least I know where everything is and where to find it when I need it. I’m the same way at work and everybody loves that about me because I can put my finger on a document or email whenever someone requests it. But I do like the pic and the way everything coordinates.
I’ve got the organizing part down, I just need to find a way to get all the things done that I need to while working a full time job outside of the home. Things like laundry, house cleaning, errands and etc.
