I used to love to work in my flowerbeds, do the yard work and garden. I don’t do as much anymore mainly because my back can’t handle as much.

I love it, too! And like you, I’m sort of teaching myself and have a lot to learn. But it’s so fun to see things grow. I have so many ideas I want to do; it’s a matter of the free time matching up with perfect weather.

My husband is the gardener. He loves to dabble. He has about 15 spider plants that hang in the trees during summer & hang all over my house in the winter! He loves to try tropical plants in the Tx Panhandle! Just to be different! He does do the veggies, too. It took a while to get used to Tx soil & weather after growing up in Pittsburgh, but he has diversified alot. Enjoy. My husband claims it’s his stress reliever. That’s all he needs.

I have a “black thumb,” but I’m trying to learn. The previous owners of this house did a wonderful job growing beautiful flowers, and I’d hate to be the one that killed all the plants.

I had to do too much yard work as a kid. So, I’m not into it, but my husband and daughter are. We have lettuce growing and tomatoes. I’d like more papaya trees and I’m looking forward to my starfruit producing more fruit!
