“Aiden-isms”

Me: “Aiden, does your eye hurt?”
Aiden: “No…. only when Cooper pokes it… and when I look at the sun.”
——–
Aiden: “When you put a “strike,” (a lightning bolt) on my picture it means I’m fast… when you name your horse, “strike,” it means he’s fast.. got it?”
——–
Aiden: “What was that sound that woke me up?”
Me: “I don’t know, what kind of sound was it?”
Aiden: “It was the kind of sound that woke me up..”
——–
Aiden: “mama, why do you wear glasses?”
Me: “so I can see.”
Aiden: “why can’t you see?”
Me: “my eyes aren’t that strong, they need help with the glasses.”
Aiden, after staring at me for awhile, and blinking a lot: “How do your eyes work out to get strong?”
——-
*Aiden is our contemplative boy, who asks a lot of questions and has a lot of answers, and makes a lot of rules. I love to hear what he comes up with!

I wish we’d have had digital cameras, blogs, Twitter, and such when my kids were little. I’d have done a better job of recording all the cute things they said and did. That Aiden is a cutie.

This is awesome! I love the one about the sound that woke him up! lol
We’ve been writing down funny things that Ben says since he first started talking. We LOVE looking back at the quotes and giggling at his sweet innocence. I wish I would of done that with Jesse and Lisa, too.
I’m glad you enjoy those moments. Kids are such a blessing!

You have been so gracious at allowing us to see each little guy’s personalities. They are each unique. It’s been fun getting to “know” them! And, of course, I love your photography! Have a great day.

That’s awesome! I love how he talks and sees life. Today one of my little students said, “This remembers me of a song I used to know.” So sweet!
