I just love this idea. Basically you draw a heart and have the kids fill in people/ things/ places/ etc. they love. There are many different variations, and this person describes this much better. This is something I am definitely going to have my family sit down and do sometime this week!

*What are some things that would be in the “map of your heart?”

Oh my goodness! I love this activity. I’m going to have my PreK class do this for their Valentine’s for their parents. Thanks for sharing this!! Valentine’s Day kind of snuck up on me this year, and as I planned out this week’s lessons, I wasn’t happy with what I’d come up with. This will be perfect!
I’m also excited to check out the Playful Learning site. I think I’m starting to love my job again. Sometimes it doesn’t feel like what I’m doing counts, even though I know it does.
BTW- your husband’s post about you was sweet.
