Baby, It’s Cold Outside…

…. but it made for a beautiful sunset this evening!
Back to the cold…. this is by far the coldest winter we’ve had here yet. Our skin is cracked and dry, and this morning it literally looked like we were in a snow globe with glitter flying around. It wasn’t snow, and it wasn’t hail, it was like ice air. Very cool- (both meanings of the word)
*What’s the weather like where you are?

It’s actually been in the 70’s, I think! I sure hope God has more winter in store for us.

Mines the same as your alls. The last few days you can hardly breathe when you first step outside. “Jack Frost” snatches your breath away.
I love it! Ahhh winter – glorious winter. Oh, and today we woke up to snow. Me so happy.

That is a beautiful sunset! Thanks for sharing it.
Right now it’s sunny, but the air temp is -6 but it feels like -24 with wind chills. Crazy-cold! School was cancelled yesterday and today, and with Monday being a holiday, that makes 5 days off in a row. I hate the cold, but I love this time off!

We got into the 30’s today, but have had no moisture in almost 90 days. We’ve usually had 4 or 5 snowstorms by now. Dry, dry, dry. My skin hates me!

When I took the kids to school in the morning it was -2, but warmed up 11 in the afternoon.

We actually got up to 2 degrees ABOVE 0 today. That’s the first time in about a week that it’s been near zero at all. Thursday’s high was -12 and the low as -35 or something close. I’m so grateful that I was sleeping inside and could turn the furnace up! My husband is currently working overnights on the flight line and the wind chills were -50 or worse. That’s might dang cold to have to be outside workin’ in.

Wow, it is hard to even imagine that. Like Annie said, it has been 65-70 here. It really feels like early spring. All my windows are open, airing out the house…Love it..
But, like Annie…I am not ready for winter to be over, didn’t it just start???
Love you…Mom

Disgusting!! It was -57 farenheit here the other day… and has been -40s for forever.
Thankfully this weekend it’s supposed to warm up a LOT and be right around freezing….

I believe it reached 87 where I live today… I’m thinking of going to the beach on Monday

A lot of you are in places a lot colder than us! I should stop complaining…..

It is 16 right now and getting colder…with some beautiful snow falling. I hope it doesn’t get back into the negatives like last week. That was unbearable!

Beautiful sunset!! It’s really cold here too – I don’t think it’s been much above freezing in several days. Takes me forever to get the girls bundled up and out the door

Pretty much freezing in Hawaii! Waking up and it’s 58 degrees. Ya, I know it’s Hawaii. We get cold here too and I don’t have an electric blanket or gloves ‘n’ all that winter stuff to keep you warm!
