Hair Cuts.

Cooper’s hair grows straight forward, right into his eyes. It was getting too shaggy- see the before picture:

So, before church I set him up on the counter and proceeded to trim the bangs. I’m definitely not a professional hair stylist, and he ended up looking a tad like “Corky,” from “Waiting for Guffman.”

I still haven’t learned not to cut anyones hair. *Do you cut your family’s hair?

My girls just get their haircut where I do. I would be terrified to try to tackle their hair.
I’ve considered cutting my boy’s hair, but so far I’ve taken him to a barber. I think he’d wiggle too much for me…
Oh yeah, and Cooper? Is. So. Cute! Those blue eyes!

Mrs. E got me to trim Lil’E’s bangs. Once. Enough said.
She was very hesitant to get Lil’er E’s hair cut for the first time. I finally convinced her that the shaggy look was why so many people kept calling him a her. Now, when he first gets his hair cut, he looks like such a little man. I can’t believe he’s almost two!

I attempted it once and that was one time too many! Cooper would be beyond adorable no matter what kind of haircut he had!

I cut my 4 year old’s hair and my husband’s hair. And today, my 12 month old will be getting his first trim because he’s starting to grow what my brother affectionately refers to as a ‘micro mullet.’ Once the word ‘mullet’ has been thrown out, it’s time for a trim!!

I take the clippers to my Malachi’s hair, and Ryan uses them on himself. Ryvre and I just go to a cheap place about twice a year.

I cut Matt’s hair on Saturday! He was letting it grow. (Not my favorite look on him) I then needed change myself, and then cut my own bangs. (they had grown to chin level.) I didn’t do too bad this time. (I even got a compliment on my new hairstyle and everyone says that my hair has “grown” so much) I have perfectly ruined all of my childrens hair cuts at one time or another. I have been scolded many times by my haircutter friend.

I have always cut Trinity’s hair. I cut Zions too. but only trim it because he likes his rockstar “do”. I don’t even try to cut Noahs.. Poor kids he would be tortured at school.

I used to trim the girls’ bangs, but now that their hair is all one length, I don’t mess with it. I remember once when they were little I tried to cut their bangs the way my mom always did with my little brother. She would put a piece of scotch tape straight across his bangs, and then cut through the center of the tape. Unfortunately, it kind of gives you that “bowl-cut” look, but on the plus side all the pieces of hair are stuck to the tape for easy clean-up.

i totally used to cut my family’s hair… it was fun to have that control and i only abused it once when my stepmom really upset me… i got back at her by giving her a bad cut massively too short and not even layers but convinced her it was hot and she believed it. she deserved it, she is sort of evil… i think i will cut bella’s hair but i don’t know when i will be able to cut those cute curls once they come!

We have 6 daughters (yes, 6) and then……a son was born. Needless to say I’ve never had to cut hair before 3 years old. Here was my attempt. Just when we thought he couldn’t get any cuter… http://twitpic.com/yu5h
