Happy New Year!

I am so excited that today is the first day of this New Year- 2009! I realized how old I was, when it was a huge struggle for me to stay up until midnight, when I kept calling the Jonas brothers “those kids,” and how hard it was for me to wake up this morning!
I don’t have a ton of resolutions this year, just to live differently than I did last year, and to put to practice the things I’ve learned. I am a planner by nature, so I have all kinds of exciting “plans,” that I hope actually take shape over the year. I am most excited that we have entered this year with some direction, which is so different than last year.
*What are you most excited about for 2009?

We will be moving to a new house (because of schooling issues with the kids) at some point this year. Exciting but scary. My kids will be going to public school for the first time, and I have to tell you that can keep me up at night at times. That’s the biggest thing for our family. I’m also a planner, and I have a whole plan for how and when our move is going to happen. How often do your plans come to be? Mine don’t often go the way I want them to, so I’m daily giving it to God. Ultimately, His plan is the better one anyway!
Happy New Year, Kristin!

I’m most excited about the new friends I’ve made in the past 2 months. Getting encouragement from such neat Christian women is exciting. And doing thru blogs what I never thought possible before those MM concerts. I am excited for my daughter, who will graduate from Baylor in May and start her life anew.

Moving! (hopefully)

NOT moving! My company is merging and moving to Ohio … The whole idea totally stressed me out. But I have resolved for myself (does that make it a resolution?) that I am not moving. I have the option of working remotely, from home (or from some co-operative work space), so I am going to do that.
Having made that decision, I feel a whole let better about the merger.

Lisa~ as far as “my plans” go, big life things don’t ever work out how I plan, so I don’t focus on those things, I plan for small things, like the next birthday in our family, or planting a garden, small things that I can accomplish like that.
Annie~ moving again?
