“My friends, we are not those who give up hope and so are lost; but we are of the company who live by faith and so are saved… Faith is the assurance of things you have hoped for, the absolute conviction that there are realities you’ve never seen.”
~Hebrews 10:39-11:1 The Voice
*Hope and Faith are at times some of the hardest things to muster, (for me) during the dark times of life, but it seems that without faith it is hard to have hope. They go hand in hand, and when I can truly grab ahold of my faith, and it’s strength, I have a new found hope. I am glad that it’s not the other way around. It is easy to loose hope, and to feel lost, yet if my faith is secure, and strong, then my hope remains.
I’ve been reading a new version of the bible, called “The Voice.” I love how it’s written. I especially appreciate the descriptive excerpt boxes that explain things, and definitions a little deeper.
