My favorite part was when my son handed me a note he’d written that said:
” Im thankful for, my daddy, my momm, aiden, cooper, my house, my food, my family, me, my trees, the air.”

~Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I love Thanksgiving.  It was one of my favorite holidays as a kid.  My grandparents somehow had a table big enough to fit my whole family, aunt,s uncles, cousins…

Now as an adult I feel this pressure that Thanksgiving is like this hump to get over to the actual holiday of Christmas.  There is Christmas everywhere, already!  I am fighting the urge to decorate or Christmas shop just yet.  

I am so excited for Christmas, but also very excited for Thanksgiving.  This will be the 2nd turkey I have ever attempted to make.  I hope to actually be able to eat this one.  

~Anyone else feel like Christmas is coming faster this year?  Wasn’t it just August?  

I’ve been having a few disturbing dreams the past couple consecutive nights.

They are disturbing because they are so boring.

The first one was about picking out a broom… in a store… that is all.

The second one was about cleaning my shower with bleach, and me explaining to my husband how we need to keep the kids out of there because bleach is so toxic, but we need the shower cleaner.

Then this last one tonight was me and Brody driving in a car, arguing about how far it was to Michigan.

Each time I woke up because I wanted to dream something different. Alright dream experts, what does this say about me?

Every year for Brody’s sister’s birthday, we get her a calendar.  Not just any calendar, but a calendar that we think is funny that she’d have to hang in her house all that year, and she is always faithful to hang whatever awful calendar we get her.  Some great ones of the past are, “Ferret in various poses,” (like in a cowboy hat leaning on a fence,) and  ”Broke back Mountain,” (clips from the movie.)

So this year, we’ve scoured the local stores, and can’t seem to find “the one.”
