A Good Rental

We watched “Vantage Point,” last night. It was fast paced and had me hooked in from the first 5 minutes. The concept is, that you get to see what happens from every persons’ “vantage point.” It’s one of those movies where you say, “It’s already over?” at the end, because you are pulled into it the entire time. I liked it, it was a good movie.
We did have a hard time choosing a movie to rent. It’s been a long time since Brody and I sat down to watch a movie together, so we didn’t know what get. Any recent rentals that you can recommend?

It’s been a really long time since Ry and I have rented one, too.

Just Like Heaven. It’s a Reese Witherspoon movie, and both of my teen boys even loved it (“for a chick flick”).
Also, College Road Trip (rated G – I didn’t think they did that anymore!), and Definitely, Maybe were good ones as well.
We have Netflix, so we’ve ordered stuff we wouldn’t have ordinarily tried right off the shelf. We found several TV series on DVD we liked as well – Kyle XY, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Everwood, and Daybreak.
That oughta keep you for a minute!

I haven’t seen this one yet, but “Bella” was really well done I thought. If you haven’t seen it, you should check it out. Though, fyi I will admit to welling up a couple times.

I liked Vantage Point, as well. Pretty good flick. I’ll second Melody’s recommendation of Bella – really well done movie that Mrs. E and I both liked a lot.
By the way, what ever happened to your and Brody’s 80’s movie nights. He kept us updated for a while them dropped off.

Sheri~ Is just like heaven” and older movie, where she is a ghost? I liked that one…
Melody and euphrony, I haven’t heard of Bella, I’ll have to look that one up!
I was just talking to Brody about our “catch up movie night,” we need to start that again. I think it’s my turn to pick one for him to watch that he’s never seen!
