I Don’t Do Dishes on Sundays, Can You Tell?

…. I don’t like doing chores that don’t ever get done. Chores like dishes and laundry. The second I think I’ve done the last dish, or the last t shirt, there’s something else in the sink, or something else in the hamper. Give me gardening, or organizing something any day.

Hah! I love this pic. You know what there’s never a shortage of in my house? Laundry! Laundry, laundry, laundry. Now don’t get me wrong. It’s not like allover the house where we have to wade through it and such. It’s all very tidy and nice, but it’s like you said. Never, ever ALL done. Phew! Makes me tired just thinkin’ about it. LOL

Dishes and Laundry… and mopping the floor. 3 things that are messed up within 4 seconds of me thinking they are finished. Before I can even pat myself on the back for a job well done!

Just spelling the word “chore” makes me dizzy. I try to avoid them all whenever possible. That’s what kids are for, right?
Actually, dishes and laundry are my least favorites for the same reasons. They’re never done. Especially with 4 kids (one of whom is convinced that changing her outfit 5 times a day is a fashion must).

Well, I hate the dishes as well. But I think the worst for Trav and I is bringing in the paper. It is a secret competition to see who will cave in first and bring it in. Some weeks, it just sits in the driveway and slowly falls apart until there is nothing left. Pretty bad.

I don’t do dishes either, on Sunday’s. Everyone is allowed to take a day off from the daily grind. Laundry is something in our household that resumes on Mondays also.
