Cat or No Cat?

My cat has radar for “I don’t like cats” kind of people. She sits on them, or right next to them when they come to visit. I realized that there are cat people, and non cat people. There aren’t people that are indifferent to cats. They either like them or they don’t. I like cats, I just don’t like litter boxes.
Which one are you?

I guess I am sort of indifferent, but I’m allergic to them so I try to stay clear so that my eyes don’t water and itch. I don’t seek them out like I would a dog, but if they come up to me, I will pet them and make sure to wash my hands immediately after. I always wanted a cat when I was growing up, but everyone in my family is allergic, so we had dogs instead.

Okay, is this your cat in the lovely pic? If it is, it must be a different one ’cause the cat I remember (Ms. Courtney Love Kitty) was all “tore up lookin” in Brody’s old pic. lol
I am like you. It’s not that I don’t like cats. It’s that I disdain their litter boxes. I used to not care even about doing that but,
I think I finally figured out why. Three of my four kids still need diapers changed every day. So, I guess for now the thought of cleaning up more poo (this time for a kitty) makes me want to take a very long nap.
Probably for the best anyway as all four of the kiddies have asthma and allergies anyway.

We have a cat. It’s 14 years old and poops on the floor beside the litterbox 2-3 times a day. Oh, it leaves hairballs at the foot of my bed, too.
Really, this is probably just it’s revenge for our having a little boy that pounces on it to “love” it. Kind of like Hugo, the abominable snowman, from the Bugs Bunny cartoons. (“I will name him George, and I will hug him and pet him and squeeze him and pat him and pet him and rub him and caress him and… “)

Our house is a dog only house because my husband is allergic to cats. My Mom has to de-hair the room we sleep in when we come to visit because his allergies go NUTS. I used to have cats and I certainly don’t miss the litter box in the least.

I am not sure my life would be complete without them.

Yes that is our Mrs. Turner, whom I love and Brody pretends to hate!

I love cats. I would have them even if I were allergic to them. That’s how much I love them. I have been called the “cat whisperer” because I can tame wild cats. I don’t really know why, but cats just come to me all the time. Weird huh?

I love cats, also hate the cat box, even the electric one. With Dad’s leg, he cannot change it..I tried once, gagged the entire time. It’s Noah’s job now. He doesn’t mind.
Mrs. Turner is beautiful.
Love you, Mom

I think I like cats, I now have to. My mother – in -law bought each boy a cat. We have 3 kittens now. They are fun, but why do they have to want to snuggle when I’m eating something?

I like cats. We had to leave our last one with another family in England when we moved back to the US as it’s too hard on cats to be kenneled for months. We have a dog now because this is the first home we’ve lived in with a big enough yard to have a dog.

I like them. We don’t have a litter box and just put her out at night. It has worked so far but we have mild california weather.

Non-cat. Largely because I’ve been allergic since childhood.

Blue said a bit ago, “mrs. Turner is like a ball of fluff, and shade (our neighbors cat) is like a normal cat.”
It seems like most people who don’t like cats is because they are allergic to them.
Kristin d~ 3 kittens!!!!? wow…

I love cats. Hate boxes.
Unfortunately, Ryan doesn’t like them.
We have Elizabeth right now, but she’s not really ours. We’re taking care of her for a friend, indefinitely.
