I was talking to my son and his friend who was spending the night, listening to stories about the friends’ “house brownies,” and “sprites,” “fairies,” etc. (I think they’d recently watched Spiderwick) and my son wanted to chime in with his own story of a “for real.” So he said,
“I know that radio active spiders are real….. I looked them up on the computer, I typed, ‘not lying spiders,’ and it showed a picture of a radio active spider… and they all live together….- for real, it did.”

Ha! Ha! We have half eaten crackers topped with honey all over our house. I told the kids that if they keep doing that, we will have more than a house brownie living with us…for real!
