Kids Are Cool

(Positive Post Tuesday)

Lately I have been pointing out the things about our kids that make us shake our heads and pull out our calculators to add up the damage, but in the end, we love them, and they are in fact the cutest in the world. They have helped me in ways that were unexpected.

~They have taught me to be unselfish, and what sacrifice means.

~They have taught me (are teaching me) patience.

~They slow me down to a better pace, just by crawling into my lap, laying a head on my shoulder, or pulling me down to their level to peer at the ants.

~They’ve re-shapen my dreams.

~They’ve taught me about commitment, and a love I never knew I was capable of.

(Congratulations to our friends Martha and Al, and Kyle and Colette, who are expecting their first child!)

Another thing that is cool about kids..no matter how old they get, that love and those learning things never change. We are blessed.

I couldn’t agree more with the last one though, “~They’ve taught me about commitment, and a love I never knew I was capable of” SO TRUE!

I was over here looking for your tiny talk tuesday…from the Mr. Linky…did I miss it?

Try to use your permalink so that it can be found even late – not just your blog’s main address.

    Enjoy those kiddos!
