I’m totally late in posting this, but I’m going back and reading all your posts. =)

I have hubby, & 3 girls (8,5,2) and we spend 450 including any paper products, cleaning supplies, personal care items etc.

I shop at Aldi A LOT!!! And a little bit at Sam’s. Mostly Walmart though.

We try to enforce a really tight budget of $250 a month on groceries, but we only have one child. When we’re up to twelve kids, I’m sure we’ll spend at least $400…

wow! It sounds like everyone is similar! About 4-600 average. I guess depending if you are including cleaning, diapering supplies etc.

Daisy, 6 kids would definitely cause a large grocery bill, and probably a lot of that is because you are eating out less, ?

We spend around 600 a month with 2 small kids. I’ve started clipping cupons recently and I just subscribed to thegrocerygame.com. In about 12 weeks I should see a big reduction in our grocery spending.

We spend about $1000 a month on groceries. That is not being extravagant, either. We have six kids at home. We spend more on groceries now than we did when all eleven kids were living at home. And we definitely do not have a huge income.

I’m guessing we average about 550 a month – that includes most toiletries, cleaning supplies, diapers and pretty much everything else you can get at our super sized grocery store.

I have two brothers (20, 18) plus my dad and I would estimate ~300 a month since we try not to eat out and also avoid the snacks as possible.

So, I know theses are California prices, but we spend about 6-800 a month. My three boys are a little older and I do have Matt (my healthy eater husband). I thought I was doing pretty good too. We go out maybe once or twice a week. not alot though. too expensive! Ragan has really started eating. (He is offically taller than me now. He’s grown an inch in 2 months!)

Four hundred is a good estimate for us, too. This includes diapers (which I’m hoping to be done with SOON) and pet food for two cats and a rabbit. We only go out about once per week, on average. I have definitely noticed the groceries getting more expensive, though…
