I’m my grandma.

chair2.gif The other night I realized that I was sitting there knitting, and listening to the bible.  In spite of the fact that I was enjoying myself, I realized that I closely resembled my grandma, whom I loved dearly, but I am 26 years old.  I was knitting… while listening to the bible…. They are both great things to do, but when put together, it’s the ultimate grandma cliche. To redeem my youth, I went and put on my Toby mac t shirt, and sent some text messages. Then I felt better about going to bed at 10pm.

    Kristin,
My 15 year old daughter loves to knit (of course she’s listening to something I can’t identify) and she learned from my 35 year old niece who’s part of a regular knitting circle. She and her friends get together at a different restaurant each week to eat and knit. Personally, I think I’m too old to knit.

    That is so funny!
Last Friday Ben and I felt like we were our grandparents because we were watching the news and doing puzzles….
Our boy has got us hooked on puzzles, and we couldn’t wait for them to both be in bed so we could work on our harder puzzles!!
And all that craziness on a Friday night, too!!
